| "On Living and Leaving
a Legacy: An Alternative to Incentive Trust"
Texas Bank CLE - Austin
October 31 - November 1, 2002
Clients are increasingly concerned with the impact of

the likelihood that the inheritance will have a positive
impact on the beneficiaries. This presentation will explore
the uses of Incentive Trusts and propose an alternative
method of achieving this objective.
"Creative Use of Trusts"
TSCPAs Tax Institute
San Antonio - November 14th
Dallas - November 15th
This presentation will explore how clients can creatively
use trusts to accomplish not only dramatic wealth transfers
but also to accomplish a multitude of other objectives.
Trusts can be used to leverage tax free transfers, retain
control now and/or upon death, protect the property from
creditors and/or estranged spouses, benefit charities and
shift an income stream to support another person. Frequently,
trusts can take an objective whether it is tax savings or
a personal one and magnify the results.
